I’ve been seeing a lot of noise online lately about how “easy” it is to make money right now, and if you've opened Instagram in the last six months you've probably seen it too. "Just open Canva or start affiliate marketing and you'll be a millionaire by September!" 🙄
And honestly? It’s been rubbing me the wrong way.
Not because people shouldn’t make money, they absolutely should. But because “easy” is rarely honest, and it’s especially predatory when people are already stressed about finances and the general state of the world.
So in the midst of all of this rhetoric, here’s the thing I keep coming back to:
I don’t build things to be impressive for a week, I build things to still make sense years from now.
That’s true for how I run this business, and it’s true for the things I sell you.
No manufacturing shortcuts, no fake urgency, just well-made pieces that hold up, get better with wear, and don’t need a story spun around them to justify their value.
On the website it says, "We’re what happens when metal music, artistic integrity, and quiet rebellion make out" - and that’s not just a silly tagline, it's what I live by. If something doesn’t have staying power, it gets booty-kicked to the curb. Durability, longevity, and resonance are the goalposts.
So if you’ve ever wondered why I don’t chase trends harder or why I’m not constantly reinventing the wheel (well, except for the trial and error that comes with a new brand) - that’s why.
I’m building for people who care less about what’s “hot” and more about what lasts. If that’s you, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. ✌🏻
More soon.
